Modu is a 2.5g only phone ... very small but slips into jackets
for whatever other pupose you might have. I started to write
something after MWC but just ran out of steam. It's sorta
interesting, but meh
What makes the sleeves cool is the ability for 3rd parties to
create electronic devices around the core piece. More like some
sort of PCMCIA card than just an interchangeable SIM, as it appears
that the radio and everything is in that core piece.
With that, other companies could make Kindle-like devices or an
Internet Tablet with mobile connectivity and such. I still don't
think it will take off, but it is a cool idea.

Given I've no idea what ads are in nyc, I'm guessing LG, maybe Samsung, although Nokia or Apple could be said to meet the other requirements :)

The concept is great but it's basically a sim card and a screen. You can dial but with a 4 way. The sleeves are the key to it's genius.

I didn't think Modu had a touchscreen, and I can't see them advertising in nyc yet... If it's HTC, they are hardly "new" (at least in Europe)

Sorry if my last comment appears a little out of place; caused by Mauku and the problematic Jaiku API not providing me all comments.
